Our assisted living services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and include diabetic, ambulatory, and medication management as well as personalized assistance with daily living activities, like bathing and toileting. Other services, such as regular housekeeping, laundry, and transportation, are also available for added convenience.

Our community also features a memory care neighborhood specifically designed for those with early to late-stage dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Our memory care team uses sensory-based programming and personalized services to help residents establish a daily routine and maintain a healthy lifestyle. By using purposeful activities and gentle conversations, we are able to create a comforting and serene atmosphere for all members of our community.

Living Arrangements

We understand that needs and preferences vary between residents. That is why we offer multiple floor plan options, so you can pick a layout and price point that works best for you. Choose between a charming studio, spacious one-bedroom, or even a semi-private apartment. All units feature wall-to-wall carpeting, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and large windows for an abundance of natural light during the daytime. Convenient kitchenette areas and spacious, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also included in each apartment. Bathrooms may even be equipped with a walk-in shower, safety railing, and an emergency response system.

The Woodlands of Shaker Heights also offers short-term or respite stays for families and caregivers who are in need of a brief break. We offer flexible stays, enabling respite guests to truly experience what life is like in our community. All respite guests receive a fully furnished apartment and have full access to the same amenities, activities, and services as long-term guests. It is also a great way to “test” out our community before making a long-term commitment.
