  • Timber Point Problems!

One thing that I don't understand is that Timber Point keeps running out of food. Their selection of food items is not the best either. About two weeks ago the residents stopped going to the dining hall for meals because the food was so bad. The employees were delivering meals to the residents, in their rooms, which they normally charge for... Another problem with this place is they seem to want to isolate residents from friends and family. This is not good for elderly people. The employees here have no problem scaring the residents with eviction if they don't do what say...even if it is wrong. I would advise anyone looking to move here to question some of the residents before making the choice to live here.

  • Concerning and Confusing conversation with residents

We recently toured. Moving to assisted living is very hard decision to make and transition can be very stressful. We wanted to truly know that we're making the right decision to move to this beautiful facility. This is why we decided to stop by on a weekend. When we arrived there was no one at the desk to greet us. After a long wait several residents approached us if to help. While waiting we asked the residents how they liked living there. They were very happy with the food and care helpers. They voiced ill feelings toward the administrator not listening to concerns uncooperative to help and cold. We were told if you move there don't expect too much from the administrator but everyone else is fine. The conversation with residents was concerning and confusing to us.

  • Hospitality is a show, not genuine

I can only say, go there, take the tour, listen to your guide and then see through your guide and look around at the people, and residents there. Even the aides. Ask some residents questions, visit with the place and employees. Very few residents look to be happy, one of the residents told me that he believes there’s something going on there that keeps him from saying his price of mind some of the aides and the administration in fear he will be removed from his home. Something needs to be done here. The administration and the aides need reviewed. Residents shouldn’t feel threatened to speak up.
