Located just west of Minneapolis in a tranquil, wooded area lies the Trails of Orono assisted living and memory care in Wayzata, Minnesota. Trails of Orono is a peaceful step away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and residents enjoy all four seasons from our beautiful campus. Our main building is a two-story cabin-style lodge that houses both our private apartments, communal living space and leisure rooms, and our memory care unit.
Community Amenities and Services
Here at Trails of Orono we specialize in both assisted living and memory care. With the help of our team, we can help you or your loved ones decide which care plan is best for you. We are eager to provide compassionate service.
Our assisted living unit is perfect for residents who are looking to let go of some of the basic home-making and non-medical care responsibilities of non-assisted life while maintaining their independence. Residents are offered medication management, basic housekeeping and hygiene care, meal preparation, and general around the clock attentive and compassionate care.
Our memory care unit is for residents who are living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia related diseases and could benefit from some extra guidance as they go about their days. Our staff are trained in the Dimensions program to help with memory assistance care.
All of our residents benefit from flexible meal and dining plans that accommodate many nutrition needs.
Providing activities and events for residents that meet all seven components of wellness, emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, social, environmental, and occupational, is something that we pride ourselves on. Creating community through these events is something we are excited to do and our residents love it! Whether you’re a crafter, hiker who would enjoy our many nearby walking paths, or a film fanatic who wants to watch a movie in our home theater, there is something for everyone!
Living Arrangements
Assisted living residents have the option to choose between several different bright, spacious floor plans that are all equipped with kitchens. These apartments are the perfect middle ground between independent living and benefitting from on-site care.
Residents of the memory care unit live in bright, cozy apartments with kitchenettes. Our memory care staff tend our residents closely and make sure their housekeeping needs are well taken care of.
