This community specializes in memory care, which means all the staff are trained specifically in dementia and other related diagnoses. Some residents have needs outside of just memory care, so staff is ready to provide many types of personalized care services — including diabetic care, incontinence care, ambulatory care, and medication management. Community specialists also make regular on-site visits to provide ancillary services as needed.
All residents are served three meals per day in the restaurant-style dining room. Special dining programs are available for residents with specific nutritional needs. In between meals, residents are encouraged to get involved in group activities that were designed with memory-care needs in mind. Residents may also enjoy the comfort of the spacious and inviting common areas on campus.
Living Arrangements
Villagio of Broomfield offers residents a variety of floor plans — including studio, one-bedroom, and semi-private units. Amenities include wheelchair-accessible showers, Wi-Fi, cable or satellite TV, and air conditioning. Ground-floor units may also be available at the time of interest. These homes and amenities are offered for both long-term and respite stays.
Care Types Offered
Villagio of Broomfield is an assisted living residence, which in the state of Colorado is a residential facility which provides personal services, protective oversight, social care due to impaired capacity to live independently, and 24 hour supervision (but not to the extent that regular 24-hour medical nursing care is required). Assisted living residences may also provide care to no more than 16 elderly persons who are mentally ill.
