Waterman Village is Florida's TOTAL senior living and senior health care organization. We've been in existence since 1989. We are a true, rare, local, community based not for profit organization, that is 'mission over money' driven.
We have 400 team members strong. Our CEO has been with WV for almost 20 years and was named the Orlando Area's CEO of the Year. We have over 500 residents living in: independent living homes, an assisted living facility, and a Medicare FIVE star rated nursing home for short or long term care situations.
For our independent living residences, WE OFFER A MONTHLY RENTAL FEE OPTION for our existing retirement community where NO BUY IN OR ENTRY FEE IS REQUIRED. For our brand new retirement community that's opening in 2022, we do require a buy-in /entry-fee, but, the good/unique news is, it's ALWAYS BETWEEN 75-90% REFUNDABLE, NO MATTER HOW MANY YEARS YOU LIVE HERE.
We're a stable organization for your peace of mind (haven't been bought or sold) and many of our staff have been with us for many years. We are located in Mount Dora, which was ranked by a major national newspaper as the number #1 small town to retire to in Florida. Mount Dora is located in Central Florida, just NW of Orlando and East of Leesburg. We also have an outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy clinic right on campus, a bank, a travel agency, a real estate agency, a beautiful Church with a full time Pastor, a pool, a wellness/fitness center, a CVS Pharmacy, and our own full-service in home health care agency. We offer a staffed gatehouse/entry, 24/7, for the security and safety of our residents and staff.
Next to our gatehouse are 2 full service dental offices. We offer more services and amenities than any senior living community in FL, to help our residents live their best lives possible, and to make the lives of family members and friends as easy as possible.
