Whitney Place at Natick is conveniently located near some of Massachusetts’ beautiful scenery, like Lake Cochituate and Henry S. Hunnewell Town Forest. Our stately community is also close to several dining options and shopping at Sherwood Plaza Shopping Center.

We know that no two people are alike, and everyone who lives in our community benefits from an individualized care plan, catered to their needs and preferences. Whether you seek assisted living or memory care services, you’ll benefit from our engaging community and caring staff.

Community Amenities and Services

We offer a variety of activities for you to take advantage of. If you love the culinary arts, you may enjoy watching one of our cooking demonstrations. And, if you’re more interested in eating the food than cooking it, don’t worry. You’ll be able to enjoy chef-prepared meals while you’re here, made with many locally sourced ingredients. Our sauces and salad dressings are made from scratch, plus our food is nutrient dense and healthy.

We have plenty of outdoor spaces (including rooftop gardens!) for you to enjoy, and fitness options from tai chi and yoga to Wii sports. You’ll be able to enjoy computer games, music, and other entertainment. We even coordinate intergenerational activities with the nearby child care center. Our resident-run convenience store is stocked with essentials you may need, and we also have an on-site beauty and barber shop. You can join us for excursions to museums and theatrical productions around town, too.

Of course your care is very important to us, so we provide regular health and wellness assessments, safety checks and reminders, medication management, and managed incontinence. We have staff available to help you around the clock and an emergency response system in case you need it. We’re also happy to arrange for transportation for you if you need to visit your doctor or just want to run an errand.

Tapestry Memory Care at Whitney provides an exceptional level of care for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia. We help with daily bathing and grooming, and set up a routine for your loved ones, so they feel supported. All of our memory care programs and activities are designed to support six areas of wellness — physical, social, emotional, occupational, intellectual, and spiritual. Our spaces offer a simplified design and feature nostalgic elements which residents enjoy reminiscing over.

Living Arrangements

Our apartments are available in a variety of sizes to suit your needs. We have studio, one-bedroom, and companion rooms. All apartments feature a private bath and an emergency pull-cord system. They also come with a kitchenette and microwave. We’ll take care of all of your housekeeping needs, including laundry and linens. Whitney Place also encourages you to bring your favorite furnishings and decorations, so you can customize your home to perfection.

  • Whitney Place

The community spaces at Whitney Place always looks well kept during my weekly visits. In terms of the staff, my mother mentioned some of the people were very nice and others she would say were not. My mother has always spoken very highly of the activities staff, they are very kind and inclusive and have always made her day. They have also tired very hard during the community lock down to FaceTime with families and have been working even harder than they were before. They could, however, do a little better with communicating with the families on a more regular basis.

  • Takes Away the Worry

The staff are very motivating to the residents by getting them up, offering them activities to do, and getting them moving. Their approach is tailored to memory care and very gentle and encouraging. Their meals offer multiple choices and a good balance of food. My grandmother actually said they make the best rice pudding she has ever eaten in her life! Whitney Place is the whole package which takes away the worry for me. They call me and keep my updated all the time, but with I like most, is that they even update me on the little things.

  • Off to a Bad Start

My 89 year old mother just moved in about a month ago from Fox Hill, an independent living facility. So far, not so good. We may have made a bad choice. - My mother desperately still wants to move into a family home. - I can't even get a phone in her room. It is very difficult to get anyone to pick up on the Broadmoor floor, so she is feeling very isolated from her kids and grandkids. - The sales person - [name removed]- has been writing nasty emails behind my back as I try to help my Mom ease into her new life.
