Amber Meadow currently has a comfortable selection of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. Wheelchair-accessible units are available as well. Each unit features a kitchen/kitchenette, patio/balcony, cable TV, utility packages, and an emergency alert system to notify our 24-hour staff of any time-sensitive concerns. Your pets are also warmly welcomed!

  • First Class!

    First Class! The entire staff from Director down are dedicated, professional people. My parents lived over 45 yrs in the same country home with a park like yard in the back (...and literally a park right out their front, i.e. Birds Hill Park) that they enjoy year round. Therefore, understandably any move like their's is difficult and a life changing adjustment. However, the staff not only rolled out the 'red' carpet for my parents but also were amazingly accepting to welcome their dog (Jingles). It turned out the my parents found a wonderful home for Jingles (a border collie...which is not a small dog, and the director know this), but just the prospect of Amber Meadows accepting their pet was a huge weight off my parents and helped easy their transition. Cheers!

I don't think staff should ever argue with residents, and I wonder if they are getting proper training in dealing with the elderly. My guide spent more time running around than guiding me, and I was left alone for most of the time. Didn't seem to be particularly welcoming.

    Staff and management is the best ! Food is good, suites are very comfortable and good size. Grounds are well maintained, area is good. Pets are allowed so that is a plus. So glad my dad has an opportunity to live there.
