When you call Brookdale Sugar Land your home, you’ll experience care like never before. Located in the small town of Sugar Land, Texas, our community is just southwest of the world capital of space exploration — Houston. Here, you’ll notice tall oak trees casually line the street in our close proximity to the Brazos River, which is the eleventh longest river in the U.S. Many residents of our home enjoy how conveniently close the community is to local restaurants, shopping areas, and the Sugar Land Town Square.

In the community foyer, you are encouraged to discover the most distinguishable and unique feature offered. Believe it or not, we have Sugar Land’s largest aviary, consisting of 15 birds that we consider family. Here, you can easily unwind and enjoy some bird watching when you choose. There is never a dull moment and always much to look forward to.

From memory care to assisted living services, you can rest assured you’ll have access to the care you need. Staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergencies, and a 24-security system is also in place to provide additional protection. Residents’ wellness is supported through collaborative care partnerships and our exclusive Personalized Service System. Through this system, we create customized care plans to match your specific needs and budget, which also helps to prevent surprise costs.

Restaurant-style dining is offered daily, which includes healthy menu options for all, including dementia-friendly choices, as well. Through our Clare Bridge program we provide person-centered care and programming to residents with dementia. One of our goals is to tailor each resident's experience to their unique likes and abilities. Do you have a favorite meal or activity? Let us know so we can incorporate it into your day. In addition to care and cooking, you can also say goodbye to housekeeping, chores, and maintenance.

  • Plenty of Potential but definitely needs improvement

I think that the director is a good guy, but stuff is getting past him. It took a big challenge, a really bad winter storm and a trying time, to see what everybody is made of. I learned that with my family members, and with the staff at Brookdale. Keep ‘em alive until five was the impression I got. I feel like a lot of them were just hter for the paycheck, stuck in the routine. I think they're good people. Salesperson, did her job, one of the big reasons we went there, she made everything so comfortable for us They all helped me out a lot in the beginning. They made it very easy and comfortable for move in. I just feel like they need to take a good hard look at the facility and see how they can make things better once you move in, and how they can work together better when unforeseen challenges arise. I like the director. He's a great person, he really is. Some stuff is getting past him. He was nice enough to resolve the issue professionally, and I thank him for that. He handled it professionally. I just think that my father should have been treated a little better from the get-go.
