  • Good Place

This is a wonderful place. The staff are so caring and friendly. All around it is good. When I toured it gave me that warm fuzzy feeling and I just knew it was going to be a good fit for my loved one.

  • Constantly raising rates

Even with COVID, they raise the rates on these elderly people knowing they can not move out easily. The basic rent is incredibly high even though most of the people living their are very self reliant. Since they aren't allowing visitors inside, they can get away with a fraction of the staff. They charge for everything they can. If your loved one needs one med a day, they charge $400/month. If the Executive Director makes a visit to one of the residents to answer a question or concern, it's an $80 minimum charge (isn't that her job)? It's also about $80+ per incident if they assist them by guiding or encouraging them into the shower (they aren't actually washing or lifting them). The prices are astronomical, and they do not accept state funded long term care insurance. When you first move in, they make it seem very affordable but then once you're in, they raise the rates about every 6 months (for rent and all services), and then charge for everything they can. They have very limited staff on for the majority of the day/evening/weekends. Their customer service, especially their executive director seems to cease once you've been there a few months. She does make sure she is putting on a show for Facebook posts or events though.
