Living Amenities
Residents can choose from three floor plans for our beautiful studio suites, ranging from 250 to 335 square feet. Each suite contains a spacious living room and bedroom area with space for a queen bed and two wingback chairs, plus a private bathroom with grab bars. Our furnished rooms provide a quiet, serene area for residents to watch TV or spend quality time with loved ones. Each room has controlled climate units, emergency lights, and sliding bathroom doors for wheelchair access. Our all-inclusive pricing structure provides assisted living and respite residents with cable and speedy internet access.
Dining
Our staff serves three hot and delicious meals each day for residents to enjoy alongside friends within our community. Chicken fried steak, pizza, and Hawaiian skewers are just some of the meals served in our beautiful dining room, where residents can eat to the sound of a piano. Caregivers are attentive and available quickly on standby for residents that need eating assistance. On special occasions, our staff serves an elegant holiday dinner and decadent cakes decorated with bright frosting and colorful sprinkles.
Indoor Common Areas
Our indoor common areas were designed for residents to relax, spend time with friends, and stay active. The carpeted living room is spacious enough to accommodate several wheelchairs at a time and provides an area for residents to watch TV, read, or exercise. Lined with bookshelves, the living room also serves as a space where residents may begin their morning by watching the news while having a cup of coffee alongside friends. Houseplants tucked away in corners of the room give this space a natural, calming atmosphere.
Our community kitchen and dining room is often filled with residents playing games, enjoying snacks, or sipping tea while telling stories. An adjacent space filled with bright, natural light contains several wingback chairs and coffee tables with flower centerpieces for residents to kick up their feet and take a nap. During December, the space is home to a large Christmas tree, decorated by residents, with a myriad of gifts under the branches.
Outdoor Common Areas
Accompanied by caregivers, residents can enjoy the weather on our acre of land. For Mother’s Day celebrations and luaus, we create charming, exciting outdoor spaces with comfortable seating and shade from the sun. A restored barn from 1936 sits just behind our community and is often admired by residents on safe strolls around the community.
Activities
It is our pleasure to plan a variety of activities for our residents and their families to enjoy. Loneliness and boredom are just a few of the issues we can encounter as we age. We strive to provide countless opportunities for residents to engage in conversation with each other. Our outside luaus feature delicious Hawaiian-inspired dishes, games, and refreshing drinks. Residents can often be found cheerfully laughing in the dining room while completing puzzles or playing Yahtzee. In December, residents exchange gifts, enjoy holiday casseroles, and sing carols. During spring, we move outside to dye eggs and invite families for Easter egg hunts, as residents relax in the shade, sip lemonade and offer tips to their loved ones. Hallway mini golf is also a crowd favorite — residents line the halls with their putters as caregivers arrange makeshift holes.
We take pride in keeping our residents happy with clever and stimulating activities!
Personal Services
Our residents deserve to kick up their feet and relax — no worrying about pesky chores! Each resident receives private laundry services so that their garments aren’t mixed with anyone else’s. Our knowledgeable staff also assists residents with basic activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and proper grooming. We make it a priority to create a sterile yet comfortable environment for everyone within our community.
