As a family-owned community, they believe in making residents feel at home by fostering an inclusive, nostalgic environment.

The small size allows the community to provide residents with the attentive, individualized care they deserve. They also do their best to help ensure senior care is affordable by providing residents with a price-lock feature that assures residents and their loved ones that their cost of care does not increase as the level of care increases.

Community Services and Amenities

The community strives to improve residents’ overall well-being through their services. The staff is happy to take care of daily tasks for residents, so they can spend their time leading fulfilling lives. These tasks include services such as medication administration, housekeeping, and laundry. They also assist residents with as many daily living activities as they require.

To help residents maintain a healthy weight while following diet restrictions, the community provides three nutritious, home-cooked meals and snacks daily that they can enjoy at their leisure. Dedicated to enriching residents’ lives, the community keeps residents as active and engaged as they’d like. They offer several social activities ranging from music and crafts to exercise and visitation.

Elena Estates understands that one care type doesn’t meet every resident’s needs. That is why they provide one-on-one specialized care. Specialized care services include home health, respite care, hospice care, and visits to physicians, nurse practitioners, and podiatrists. Additionally, the incredible caregiving and nursing staff is specially trained in dementia management, fall prevention, and early detection of illness to allow for aging in place.

Living Arrangements and Unit Features

The community offers several spacious private rooms along with some semi-private rooms. All bedrooms are furnished with electric hospital beds to allow for proper care and also feature a nurse call system, so help is never out of reach. All bathrooms feature roll-in showers that are ADA compliant. Furthermore, the community is fully secure and equipped with fire safety systems. Residents are encouraged to bring personal belongings to help create a truly comfortable home.

Care Types Offered

ADL Assisted Living - Elena Estates is a Type B assisted living facility. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:

Assisted Living Facility

A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:

Type A:

A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.

Type B:

A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.

Type C (Adult Foster Care):

Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
