Providing apartments in the main building and ranch-style independent living 'Villas' in the campus beyond, American House Farmington Hills is ideally situated near family, friends, shopping and familiar medical professionals in Farmington, Farmington Hills, Southfield, Redford, and Livonia. We are also located close to several hospitals including Botsford Hospital, Providence Hospital and Medical Center, and St. Mary Mercy Livonia. Farmington Hills Senior Living provides Independent Living with assistance available.*

At Farmington Hills we have studio and 1 bedroom apartments. We also have independent living ranch-style Villas with 1 and 2 bedroom floorplan options. Property amenities at Farmington Hills include a community dining room, on-site beauty salon/barber shop, beautifully maintained grounds....and much, much more.

We have an Life Enrichment Director who plans a wide range of cultural, social and recreational activities and trips. Resident Services also include scheduled transportation, restaurant-style dining available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Laundry and housekeeping services are also available.

  • A Caring Place

    I would recommend the community to others, for their loved ones. The staff take great care of the residents. It would be nice to have a stronger Physical Therapy program here. Some of the activities include bingo, entertainment, and more for the residents to choose from.

    Our loved one is thriving at American House, he is back to having his own sense of freedom and independence. Our loved one started to decline at a previous community due to the lack of stimulation, but coming here he has regained all of the strength that was lost. They cook all of his meals and clean up, he has his own living space, with a nice kitchen. He can come and go as he pleases, and still can receive their medical care when needed.

    My review of American House Farmington Hills Senior Living

    Our loved one is thriving at American House, he is back to having his own sense of freedom and independence. Our loved one started to decline at a previous community due to the lack of stimulation, but coming here he has regained all of the strength that was lost. They cook all of his meals and clean up, he has his own living space, with a nice kitchen. He can come and go as he pleases, and still can receive their medical care when needed.

    Toured here over the holiday weekend. Such a beautifully updated ranch style senior home. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. We are looking for my mom who needs a setting such as this.
