Canfield Care Manor is a board and care home in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Our Ranch-style home is located near the scenic Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve and Heritage Park. We’re also close to Farmington Shopping Plaza and several local dining locations.

Community Services and Amenities

Our care home is designed to create a comforting environment for those who need assisted living or memory care. We have staff available around the clock to help with activities such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.

While you stay with us, you’ll be able to enjoy three meals a day in our intimate dining room and relax in the living room while we take care of you. We’re happy to take care of all your housekeeping and laundry for you. Our activities vary, but some of our offerings have included exercise classes and live entertainment to our residents.

Living Arrangements

You can choose between a private and semi-private room, furnished with a twin bed and a nightstand. Our bathrooms offer safety features, such as grip rails on the toilet. We can accommodate up to six residents at a time, which suits our homey environment perfectly.

Care Types Offered

Canfield Care Manor is an adult foster care facility, which in the state of Michigan is a facility that provides foster care for adults who are aged, mentally ill, developmentally disabled, or physically disabled who require supervision on an ongoing basis but who do not require continuous nursing care. Foster care means the provision of supervision, personal care, and protection in addition to room and board, for 24 hours a day, 5 or more days a week, and for 2 or more consecutive weeks.

    Our tour with Canfield Care Manor was great, it made our decision on choosing a place very difficult.

  • Canfield home was very nice. The gentleman I spoke to did not live in the house. The bedrooms were adequate and living area large enough to accomodate their residents. Large back area with wildlife.

    Canfield home was very nice. The gentleman I spoke to did not live in the house. The bedrooms were adequate and living area large enough to accomodate their residents. Large back area with wildlife.

  • My Mother

    Please stay clear of this this place. My mother arrived there the end of [date removed]. And was dead [date removed]. Less than 4 months later. Along with 3 or 4 other patients. (FARMINGTON HILLS POLICE HAVE THE NUMBERS) They deprived her of oxygen. Which should have been on at all times. My mother turned into a Zombie after that. [name removed] as well as all the other employees are not skilled. This could have been prevented. [name removed] the owner could not cared less. He lives 50 miles away. And only cares about the money. He pretends to be caring. Once you sign on the dotted line. A cruel cold hearted person he became. Morc a government run agency as well as Hospice told me to tape as much as I can. I recorded my daily phone calls with them as well. Saved every text between [name removed] and I. Please find a caring loving person (residence) for your loved one. As for [name removed]'s review. She barely visited my mom. Left her penniless. THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER OPTIONS. BEWARE ??
