Two memory care programs are available — the Clare Bridge and Solace programs. The Clare Bridge program is an exclusive brand of dementia care. It was established more than 30 years ago and provides residents with six planned activities each day to promote their mental and physical health. Meanwhile, the Solace program provides additional support to residents in the later stages of dementia. It offers assistance with grooming, and provides additional opportunities to engage in sensory activities involving things like aromatherapy and music. Staff members also receive consistent care assignments in order to build meaningful relationships with residents. Each compassionate caregiver is trained to use communication techniques like physical prompting, cueing, and more, to promote understanding and engagement, and to help residents remain independent.

To simplify residents’ days even more, Brookdale assists with transportation, errands, meals, and home maintenance. While your cooking and cleaning chores are taken care of, you can spend your time unwinding in the library, or creating a masterpiece in the arts and crafts studio. Brookdale Delta MC is a home for the aged, which in the state of Michigan is a supervised personal care facility that provides room, board, and supervised personal care to 21 or more residents that are 55 years or older. A home for the aged may provide care to 20 or less residents if it is operated in conjunction with a licensed nursing home.
