It features circular walking paths, keypad entries, secured entrances and exits, and an alert system. Plus, staff members are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency situation. Brookdale’s care team is committed to your well-being and develops person-centered partnerships with each resident. To provide the care you need when you need it most, Brookdale North Fremont’s dementia-trained team members spend extra time learning about your hobbies, health history, and personal preferences.
The community also employs two exclusive memory programs — the Clare Bridge and Solace programs — to facilitate care, structure, and connection. The Clare Bridge memory care program was created more than 30 years ago and provides residents with a minimum of six enriching activities each day. These activities highlight an individual's skills and may include brain-stimulating games, and physical activities like dancing or walking. The Solace Program specifically assists residents in the late stages of dementia by providing extra time for grooming, and sensory activities involving music and aromatherapy.
Housekeeping chores and meal preparation is taken care of daily, as well. The culinary team offers nutritious, dementia-friendly entrees, and dining assistance is available as needed. Residents sit together at the same time each day to facilitate a routine and familiar experience.
