Welcome to Chelsea Place Memory Care in Aurora, Colorado! Where they’re exclusively devoted to serving memory care patients in a safe and secure community. The staff are specially trained to treat memory care and lead with compassion, integrity, and knowledge. The community is located just east of Denver, next to one of the major cities on the Front Range Urban Corridor of the Rocky Mountains.

Community Amenities and Services

Because many residents may require additional care in other fields, the community also provides individualized personal care services, such as diabetic care, incontinence care, medication management, and other specialized services as needed. A network of community specialists are available to supplement care as well.

Nutrition can be difficult to manage on your own when dealing with memory loss, which is why personalized meals are prepared by a professional chef that seeks to meet the needs of residents’ individual nutrition goals. In between meals, take advantage of indoor and outdoor common areas. Soak up that fresh mountain air in our courtyard, read a book in the living room, or catch up with visiting friends and family in the dining room. Planned group activities are also available on- and off-site — get your body moving, try something new, meet other residents, and explore the surrounding area.

Living Arrangements

Chelsea Place Memory Care offers studio, one-bedroom, and semi-private apartments. Each of these spacious and sunny units come equipped with services and amenities such as laundry services, housekeeping, maintenance, wheelchair-accessible showers, WiFi, air conditioning, and more. Some ground-floor units and units with bathtubs are available. Respite stays may also be accommodated.

Care Types Offered

Chelsea Place Memory Care is an assisted living residence, which in the state of Colorado is a residential facility which provides personal services, protective oversight, social care due to impaired capacity to live independently, and 24 hour supervision (but not to the extent that regular 24-hour medical nursing care is required). Assisted living residences may also provide care to no more than 16 elderly persons who are mentally ill.

  • Top Notch

I am so glad I found Chelsea Place, they are wonderful. The cleanliness was top notch, they have a great ventilation system, being an HVAC guy I noticed this feature. They are tied in with the best hospice providers. The Head Nurse is a true angle with wings. The rooms are great. The menu made me want to eat there. The only negative is the the parking is limited.

  • Best place to be

This is by far the best facility of its kind. The staff and caregivers are warm and friendly and obviously enjoy their work. There is a lot of sunlight and openness to the facility that helps to support the cleanliness, and brightness of living there. Good activities, good food, good family feeling. Our mom was very well cared for.

  • Peace of Mind

I am most grateful to the amazing team at Chelsea Place for all of their help and care for my dad, especially the extra attention he was given during his recent health concerns. In particular, the Clinical Services Director's expertise, patience, persistence and overall compassion were invaluable. I also called to check on Dad a few times and to get the QMAPs' perspectives on how he was doing. Each person was as kind and reassuring as always. And I have no doubt the caregivers were gentle and attentive. Thanks to everyone, he was back in the game in no time and I felt he didn't skip a beat in his routine. I speak with my dad on a daily basis, and he regularly comments on how clean his room is (this has always been important to him). He tells me how busy he is and how "they are always bringing something yummy" for him to eat. The activities are varied and creative. This is also true of the food, allowing residents to break the monotony and celebrate the simple things. Chelsea Place continues to provide me with the utmost peace of mind that my dad is well-cared for, safe, understood and, above all, loved. This peace of mind is priceless, given that I live halfway across the country. My continued thanks to each and every person at Chelsea Place. What they do is not easy ~ and yet they do it so very well.
