Founded in 2003 right outside the Greater New Orleans area, Clara’s Sitting Service began when owner and operator Clara Allen was motivated to provide a full continuum of home care. Clara's Sitting Service offers community-based home care, providing the residents of Southeast Louisiana with quality care at affordable pricing. We understand that caring for a loved one can be a challenge — our staff is here to help relieve that stress.
Our care professionals are fully interviewed and screened, thoroughly background checked, bonded and insured, carefully matched with each client, and attentively trained and supervised. We make it our mission to show personal compassion to each of our clients. We want clients to feel like they are a member of our own family.
Service Options
From home safety programs to mentally stimulating fun and games, life memory reviews, caregiver coaching for family members, and more, we go beyond traditional services with our Homelife Enrichment Program. With caregiving services available 24 hours a day, our team is here to help with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and so much more.
Our mission is to leave our industry better than we found it by working continuously to provide clients with an amazing experience and a higher quality of life.
