Sunrise, Florida's Colony Club Senior Rental Community, located at 3799 Pine Island Road, is a residential facility specializing in providing care for elderly people who suffer from Alzheimer's disease and memory loss. At the Colony Club, a full range of programs and services are offered in a comfortable and socially active environment. Among the activities organized are current event discussions, cooking demonstrations, musical entertainment, classic movie presentations, arts and crafts, card games, bingo and penny poker, intergenerational programs, pet therapy, health seminars, wellness exercises, and outings to shopping, restaurants, parks and other destinations. Multiple levels of care are available at the Colony Club. In addition to three delicious and nutritious meals served every day, medication management and daily assistance with housekeeping and laundry, help is offered as needed with such routine daily life activities as eating, grooming, hygiene and rudimentary domestic tasks with on-site nurses provide around-the-clock supervision of these services. In addition, the Colony Club has partnered with Genesis Rehab Services, a renowned provider of long-term senior care and rehabilitation, to provide exercise classes and occupational, physical and speech therapy to residents.     This is home for my sweet Aunt.

    My sweetheart Auntie lives here and she is so well cared for. I felt compelled to write something because of the reviews some people write. They must be competitors because I have seen nothing but caring, loving people that have taken my aunt in like family. The food is excellent, the space is great and activities are well planned. I have to plan around Bingo because she will not miss a single game. It is serious business! So glad she found The Colony Club, I only wish I would have brought her here sooner. Hope this helps the next person when trying to decide where to place your loved one!

  • People beware

    Place riddled with [Removed] roaches and other insects. Urine smell throughout facility and residents belongings constantly being [Removed]. Whole facility needs a good cleaning and extermination.
