  • Tour of Heartis Mid Cities

I was able to do an in person tour after our virtual tour and the facility was extremely nice, it is a newer place. The staff were all friendly as well, but it was just way too expensive for us.

Depending on what level of care you need there is a issue with staffing. The good people that they do have are starting to leave because of the lack of help and no increase of pay. They play bridge which my loved one really likes. I do feel like they need someone to push the residents to get out of there apartments more. Other than these things this is a really good facility.

  • Very Unhappy and Disgusted

It's clean facility, and the people are friendly. But I'm not real happy with them right now. Be aware that if your family member can't do things for themselves, their call light is not going to get answered. The have quite a bit of staff turnover. I'm having to fight tooth and nail to get anything done. Her call button is not being answered. It's very frustrating. She's depressed. Things are not happening the way they're supposed to. We're paying out the nose, yet I'm having to do the things they're supposed to be doing - bathing her, changing her sheets, dealing with her catheter, changing diaper genie bags. I had to go over and get her out of bed recently because she had been hitting the call button for two hours and nobody came. Their in-house Infinity pharmacy is a waste of time. It's an extreme fight with everything to do with that. It is a big pain in the behind. And if you use an outside pharmacy, you have to pay monthly to do that, which is ridiculous. It's been very frustrating.
