Staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergencies, and an emergency alert system is also in place.

Although you may find almost everything you need on-site, the community is conveniently close to a variety of stores and restaurants, as well as the Bedford Senior Center. If you choose to explore the surrounding area even further, you will find a number of medical practitioners including Harris Methodist Hospital, as well as the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and Northeast Mall. Living Arrangements

Brookdale highlights the importance of choice by offering four different floor plans and sizes to choose from. State Classification

Brookdale Eden Estates is a Type A assisted living facility. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:

Assisted Living Facility

A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:

Type A:

A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.

Type B:

A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.

Type C (Adult Foster Care):

Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
