  • I originally chose this assisted living facility for my mother based on expediency and location. The admissions staff worked late into the evening to assure everything was attended to, prior to my mothers discharge from the hospital (less than 24 hours notice!) Once here I can only say that the resident seem happy and delighted by the activities available, and a staff which responds in a timely basis to any concern. My mother is comfortable and well cared for at this facility.

    I originally chose this assisted living facility for my mother based on expediency and location. The admissions staff worked late into the evening to assure everything was attended to, prior to my mothers discharge from the hospital (less than 24 hours notice!) Once here I can only say that the resident seem happy and delighted by the activities available, and a staff which responds in a timely basis to any concern. My mother is comfortable and well cared for at this facility.

  • Heron House for My Mom

    My Mom recently moved to Heron, after an injury determined she was no longer able to live alone. It was a worrisome process to find an Assisted Living facility that would meet our expectations: that Mom is well taken care of (Physically & Mentally), she is comfortable in her new surrounding and the facility is maintained clean. All our expectations have been met to date! She it cared for properly and as described she would be. It's a relief to know that now, Mom has her medications administered timely and she receives 3 square meals a day! There are continual daily activities and Mom is participating and socializing more now, than in years! Most important is the Staff at HH Sarasota, whom I feel all work very hard. Separately, I applaud Suzanne Leslie (Manager at Heron) who was extremely helpful in explaining guidelines to us, prior to Mom moving. She has gone out of her way to ensure Mom's needs, and our expectations, are continually met!

    Heron House for My Mom
