Our mission at Home Care Assistance is to change the way the world ages. We provide older adults with quality care in the Greater Toronto area, that enables them to live happier, healthier lives at home. We promote healthy living for our clients through our exclusive, researched-based program known as The Balanced Care Method. All caregivers incorporate the program into the care plan, emphasizing physical activity, nutrition, mental stimulation, socialization, and a sense of purpose in the lives of our senior clients.

Home Care Assistance proudly trains caregivers in our proprietary Cognitive Therapeutics Method so that clients receive one-to-one cognitive stimulation as well as support with basic care and activities of daily living — at no additional cost! The Cognitive Therapeutics Method not only improves our clients' mental acuity, but also their overall level of engagement and happiness. Based on cutting edge research, Cognitive Therapeutics is an activity-based program designed to prevent the onset of new forms of cognitive decline, as well as slow the progression of existing symptoms for individuals experiencing cognitive impairment

Since 2003 Home Care Assistance has been a leader in senior care throughout North America. Our local office is conveniently located in mid-town with our talented and dedicated caregivers working with our clients throughout the city.

We were impressed by the active listening and compassionate nature of the company representative and felt reassured with the identified next steps. We haven't yet started with service but will be shortly and are looking forward to it.

  • My mom's first time with a caregiver

    My mom required help with showering and was not too thrilled with the idea of having someone assisting her. The caregiver that came over was very gentle, kind and understood how difficult it was for my mother. She was wonderful, patient and took her time with my "less than cooperative" mother. I would highly recommend this services to family and friends. The only issue I had was the minimum of 3 hours of service (which I totally understand the reasoning behind), however, I only required assistance with the showering and that only took about an hour. Otherwise, top notch service! Very professional and compassionate caregiver provided.

    My mom's first time with a caregiver

The caregiver that came over was very gentle, kind and understood how difficult it was for my mother. She was wonderful, patient and took her time with my "less than cooperative" mother. I would highly recommend this services to family and friends.
