Homestead Assisted Living offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that allows residents to relax and enjoy every day. We strive to provide all the amenities of home to make them feel comfortable. Our community is all one floor, no stairs or elevators to maneuver.
We also offer Short Stay Suites. It is ideal for those needing a temporary stay if their caregiver will be away or is unable to provide care for a period of time. Also, it is ideal to allow our guests to recover from an injury, illness or surgical procedure. Our guests are provided a fully furnished suite and an all-inclusive daily rate.

  • Tour of Homestead

    We toured Homestead of Lenexa and it seemed more tired and run down than the others we looked at. The room we were shown was not very clean and the room they were going to give her was run down and they were not going to change the carpet or anything like that. We were looking at this facility in the first place due to the fact that they do accept medicaid.

    Tour of Homestead

    We toured Homestead of Lenexa and it seemed more tired and run down than the others we looked at. The room we were shown was not very clean and the room they were going to give her was run down and they were not going to change the carpet or anything like that. We were looking at this facility in the first place due to the fact that they do accept medicaid.

  • Don't send your loved one here

    My mother was moved here when Homestead of Leawood closed it's doors to remodel during Covid. Unfortunately we went from bad to worse. Save yourself a lot of frustration and don't put your loved one here. Missed showers, medication errors, verbal abuse from staff. My mom slipped out of her wheelchair partly because she didn't have a leg brace on and was sitting on a pillow because her cushion was lost. Nothing was done about her brace and the second fall sent her to the hospital. I am still trying to get them to put on her brace! They lie to you. No one cares. Especially not the upper management. It's sad, cruel and criminal.

    Don't send your loved one here

    My mother was moved here when Homestead of Leawood closed it's doors to remodel during Covid. Unfortunately we went from bad to worse.
