  • I think the community needs more staff. They need to work on their food. The communication, and follow up. with the family and residents could be improved on. There are games, bingo, movies, and more for the residents to choose from for activities.

  • I would recommend for anybody in retirement

    We chose Homestead of Shawnee because it was right in our neighborhood and the price was as good as we could possibly get in a situation like that. Her room size was great, she was in a double room but she was the only one living in there so it was more like a little apartment. She also said the food was good. The best part about the community was the staff members who worked here, they were all great. I would recommend the community.

    I would recommend for anybody in retirement

    We chose Homestead of Shawnee because it was right in our neighborhood and the price was as good as we could possibly get in a situation like that. Her room size was great, she was in a double room but she was the only one living in there so it was more like a little apartment. She also said the food was good. The best part about the community was the staff members who worked here, they were all great. I would recommend the community.
