Light Heart Memory Care - Webster

Light Heart Memory Care is a board and care home in Webster, which is in the Houston, Texas metro area. For years we’ve dedicated our home to enriching the lives of our aging community. We understand the difficulties of finding quality memory care, and are trained to compassionately and professionally support the unique needs of everyone in our community. We believe that retirement should be a time where seniors are granted the peace to age in place, and we’re happy to provide a suitable facility, great staff, and essential services to cater to the lifestyles of everyone we serve.

Our Community

Our compassionate staff are available to assist residents with all personal care needs. From activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, etc.), to medication reminders, we are thoroughly available to keep residents in a safe and comfortable environment where they have a reliable helping hand, and can still experience independence to their liking. We have a very small, close-knit group of people who reside at Light Heart, and we believe this offers great opportunities for residents to make connections with everyone in the community. Our regular staff ratio is one staff member to every four residents, allowing for close, watchful care.

Living

We currently have semi-private single bedroom units available. Our home is equipped with a communal kitchen and common area, available to residents anytime of the day. Staff is present throughout the day to provide safety and security, and can be notified of any time-sensitive needs residents may have.

Care Types Offered

Light Heart Memory Care is a Type B assisted living facility. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:

Assisted Living Facility

A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:

Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.
Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.
Type C (Adult Foster Care): 4-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.

Light Heart Memory Care Inspection Reports
