Marquis Place is located on the west side of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, just south of Uniontown Mall. Our beautiful community is surrounded by trees which most residents will be able to enjoy from their apartments. Other residents may have a view of our large enclosed courtyard.

Our full time Registered Nurse and our dedicated staff are able to provide care for many different needs. Our care services include:

  • Individual care plans
  • Respite care for individuals recovering from surgery or illness
  • Short term stays for caregivers who need a break
  • Assistance with bathing, dressing and other activities of daily living
  • Medication and chronic condition monitoring
  • Home visit program
  • Urgent placement
  • Coordination of care with 3rd party providers, including home health care and hospice services
  • One mile from Uniontown Hospital
  • Rehabilitation services offered

    We offer a variety of activities; resident favorites include bingo, social hours and church services. Individualized exercise classes and yoga classes are provided in our fitness room. Uniontown Mall is one mile away and residents enjoy going there for shopping, visiting restaurants and enjoying a movie at the theatre.

    Our community provides three meals daily in our restaurant style dining room and alternate meals as well as snacks are always available. We have lounges for relaxing, a computer area for internet use, an activity room for socialization and crafts and an on-site beauty and barber salon.

    We love the community, the layout, and it's not too big. We love the nurses aides, they are kind and positive. My loved one raves about the food. The staff assign seats in the dining room for the residents. This allows residents time to socialize during meals. There seems to be less directed activities by the community, and more by the residents. They are also looking for a new Executive Director.

  • Do your research before making your final decision

    I would tell others to make sure that you get everything in writing and really understand everything, do not go based off of the word of the administrators because they have short term memory. We did not have a good experience.

    We chose Marquis Gardens Place because the availability at the time. I would want others to know that the administration of the facility was very hard to work with. My mom went in at a certain reasonable price and the amount of money that they were charging to do things that we had no control of was unreal. It ended up going up hundreds of dollars a day and before we pulled her out we were paying a ton more than what we came into it paying. It also seemed like they were understaffed and the staff were not trained properly in person. Overall, it was not a good experience for our family.
