I thought they worked diligently to keep the community well maintained. The staff were very accommodating with our parent's needs. They made an effort to give them access to things like transportation to and from doctor's appointments and were very cooperative with their needs. Just about everyone in the home had some sort of special accommodations and the staff were very accommodating and on top of their individual care needs. They were particularly good about my mother's special medications and even when her prescriptions changed, they were very on top of it. In terms of activities, they did have a transport bus meant for taking the residents on off-community trips, however the bus was broken down much of the time. We were very comfortable with this community having both parents here and were very pleased with them. The only drawback or thing that I think they could possibly improve on is that the food was not very good and was not homemade. Overall, I would definitely recommend The Palms At O'neil to other's.

  • Satisfied and happy

My mother in-law has only been here for 6 weeks and it is taking time for her to adjust to her new surrounding. So far we are happy with the Palms, the care takers are friendly and she has seemed to make friends with the others.

  • Horrible

I worked there an don't let the appearance fool you. Never enough workers. Workers get more food than the residents. Owners are very nasty an never there. Cold in the summer an winter. It's personal care but people are on lifts and should be in other facilities. Beds are rarely changed. Find a better place for your love ones
