  • It was an enhanced assisted living facility that met our needs.

    I thought it was a good place. I was there quite a bit, and it was clean. The staff was very helpful, cooperative, and supportive. Occupational and physical therapy were on point and quite informative when things changed. My loved one was only there for about a month, so it was difficult for her to make the transition, but everybody did what they could to help her out.

    It was an enhanced assisted living facility that met our needs.

    I thought it was a good place. I was there quite a bit, and it was clean. The staff was very helpful, cooperative, and supportive. Occupational and physical therapy were on point and quite informative when things changed. My loved one was only there for about a month, so it was difficult for her to make the transition, but everybody did what they could to help her out.

  • It was a nice, comfortable environment for my loved one, compared to other communities we looked at. It had more of a cozy and homey feel. Due to the pandemic there weren't a lot of activities offered.

  • Ups and Downs at Atria Guilderland

    At first, I was totally on board and recommending them. The sales person was wonderful. I don't know that I would mention them to others now. They've had consistent problems with communication and getting back to me. And I'm extremely disappointed in that. I will say that the executive director is good about getting back to me. And the day-to-day workers are wonderful. They're great at handling my loved one's medications. I picked them because they have a memory care unit, and they offer a lot of activities - painting, bingo, stories, movies, etc. And they stop by and encourage the residents to participate.
