We’re just 20 minutes away from Highland Beach and close to many local restaurants. Boca Raton, Florida is a beautiful, vibrant city offering an array of good times for residents and their families to forever enjoy. Whether it’s waving at the sea turtles at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center or shopping at Mizner Park, there’s something for everyone, no matter age or condition. Our lovely tropical city keeps days sunny and bright, illuminating the goodness of life everyday.

Community Amenities and Services

Staff at Sonata are professionally trained to assist older adults with memory care needs as well as assist with activities of daily living and medication administration. We pride ourselves in nurturing a family-centered environment, where residents feel at ease knowing they can always be cared for. Our experienced staff members are also trained to support the needs of every individual resident in a diligent, compassionate, and personalized way.

Living Arrangements

We currently have studio, one-bedroom, and semi-private floor plans available. All of our units feature private baths, accessibility handrails, and emergency call systems. Our staff regularly provide housekeeping and linen services as well, so residents don’t have to bother with chores and home maintenance.

  • Unpleasant, not a good experience, irresponsible staff

    Sonata is a nice community both inside and outside. Our loved one's stay was at the beginning of the pandemic. The room wasn't cleaned to our satisfaction such as dirt under the sink, marks on the light switch plate, and more. They had a housekeeper and the housekeeper didn't clean the room. The concierge was great and knew everything. [name removed] was good. [name removed] was not good and lied. The staff wouldn't treat the resident the same if the resident would complain about the staff. We had to hire private care due to my loved one being a fall risk, and Sonata wouldn't help with our loved one since they were a fall risk. The private aide was caught sleeping in my loved one's bed or chair and the community caught this aide. The community didn't report any of the issues that they had with the private aide. The aide allowed my loved one to fall, didn't make the bed, or clean. The private aide had COVID, never had temperature taken at Sonata, and then passed COVID on to others. The same company sent over a new private aide, [name removed], and she was an angel.

    I looked at a ton of places, and this stood out to me. They are very activity oriented and engaging with the residents. They welcome residents with memory care issues . The community was able to allow family visits during COVID with CDC compliance. Several family members said they would want to go here when they need it. The staff is excellent. The communication is very good and they even allow us to have a direct line with the Executive Director if needed. They are a best practice community and they allow other communities to model after them.
