We did not have a good tour. The staff were impersonal and they could not get us out of there fast enough, they really could not have cared less about the tour.

  • A nice place for your loved one when they can't care for themselves.

Overall it's very nice. But it could use some improvements here and there. My mom tells me the food is not so good and is served cold. Also getting baths has not been a good experience for her. She tells me they can be a little rough and impatient. But the staff is always polite, and the place is always very clean and nicely kept up. It has a homey feel to the lobby. It doesn't feel institutionalized in its appearance. The décor there is very nice. I wouldn't hesitate putting her there again or recommending it to others based on what I've heard about other places in the area. The majority of the staff there have been very good, and any issues we've had they've handled very well. They kept me informed, followed up, and resolved the issue. They've been very good at communicating. With the hurricane, they sent emails out every 2-3 days and did a great job keeping families informed as to their plan for situations that arose.

  • Has gone downhill

My Mother is in Memory Care and has been neglected and talked rudely to. The staff rarely helps her put her hearing aide in and has lost her hearing aide twice, The staff does not put her diapers on at night and then speak harshly to her when she gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and then falls. The cafeteria people lack patience and have been rude to her. This place lacks sincere caring and qualified people. They also have little systems in place to handle every day responsibilities and communications with family members is less than poor.
