Every day is a day to look forward to at The Arbors at Islandia. Residents can enjoy three nutritious meals daily in our lovely dining area, prepared by our on-site chef. In addition to great meals, we maintain a vibrant atmosphere for residents to enjoy a variety of safe activities that promote both physical and mental well-being. From relaxing in one of our common areas to taking a trip to local restaurants and businesses, there’s always something going on at The Arbors at Islandia. The health and wellness of residents is our priority. We maintain a professional senior care service staff who compassionately attend to the needs of residents whenever and however needed.     I would tell people to go for it. My actual experience has been from the outside. They are allowing virtual visits. The nurses are very nice, and are quick to return my calls in regards to my loved one.

    We chose The Arbors at Islandia because of the value for the money as well as the friendliness of the staff members. They have different room sizes to choose from in the other units, but my mom is in the Alzheimer unit and the rooms seem to be large. I would definitely recommend this community to others looking.

    The cleanliness of this community is pretty good, Our loved one does not like the food, he feels that it is bland and not very warm. The staff is good, our loved one likes them very much. During the pandemic there was been no activities, they had to stay in their rooms and even when they were allowed out of their rooms they had nothing going on . Before they were allowed to take outings, watch movies, go the mall to go shopping, they had a bunch of things to do. The last three weeks they have been doing some activities, they are allowed in the dining room, they can watch TV and play card games. The food is not good, the residents say the food is not up to par especially for the amount of money you pay.
