  • Probably the best of what's available.

The activities are the biggest area for improvement. They don't stick to the activities listed on the calendar. And activities tend to be geared toward the lowest functioning residents. So my mom is struggling, because she's not low functioning and is bored. They don't do enough to take them out of the facility. It seems like they take the first floor people out and about, and the memory care people they just leave there. And that's not the staff's fault per se, probably a management issue. The nursing staff is phenomenal. The CNAs could use a little work. Oftentimes when I go there I see all five of them just sitting there, but the nurses are going and working like crazy all of the time. It's a beautiful facility, and she has a really nice apartment. The food is good too, and not institutional food at all.

  • memory unit

My father has been a resident now for one year. Staff goes beyond, caring, and always updating me with all health issues immediately. They have made both my father's full something that is very important to me. During covid, always receiving email updates with the residents safety the main concern. Did a wonderful job during this past year, health issues. Looking forward his second year as resident, thank you

  • Resident friendly

We chose The Cottage because the recommendations for this facility were very good so we went with this one. The room sizes here are very good. The staff members are also great with communication with everything that has been going on. They are very accommodating and friendly as well and fast with their response time. It has seemed that they are short staffed when it comes to serving meals, so they could use improvement on that. I would recommend to others looking.
