The Cottages of Perry Hall — A Charter Senior Living Community — is an assisted living and memory care community with a total of 64 individual apartments in Parkville, Maryland. The Cottages of Perry Hall was built in 2002 to provide the community with premier assisted living and memory care services. Our cottage-style approach to senior living allows residents to experience a unique, inviting environment with services tailored to their individual needs.

The Cottages of Perry Hall provides residents with private suites and private bathrooms among four quaint cottages, each with 16 suites. One cottage is specially dedicated to residents with memory care needs, those working through dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or Huntington’s disease. Whatever your distinct care needs, we have the skills and the space to help you live your life to the fullest.

  • A great place to put your mother.

    I would say come check them out. It's a nice place, and I would recommend them to anybody. The people I've talked to seem to be taking good care of Mom. Everyone seems to be very friendly. They told me they finally got Mom to go and play Bingo, which is great. The cost is well worth it, especially compared to where she was at before. The Cottages costs considerably less and is a much nicer place.

    I would say come check them out. It's a nice place, and I would recommend them to anybody. The people I've talked to seem to be taking good care of Mom. Everyone seems to be very friendly. They told me they finally got Mom to go and play Bingo, which is great. The cost is well worth it, especially compared to where she was at before. The Cottages costs considerably less and is a much nicer place.

    I do believe it's a good facility. I just think they're understaffed. I think their heart is in the right place and that they do care about the residents. I just don't think they can always do an efficient job because they're having to take care of too many residents at a time.
