  • Our tour experience

Our family had an in person tour and the community is so close that we could actually walk to it. We were very impressed and pleased by everything we saw and learned on our tour. The rooms that were shown to us were beautifully decorated. The meal we had for lunch was really good, however we ended up not choosing this community because the activities were in a different building. Our loved one is completely blind and getting him in/out of a car is a tall task, so we asked how they would get the residents to and from the activities building and they said if they are close enough they would use wheelchairs, but if the residents are to far away then they would use a golf cart. We just thought they would be to difficult and stressful for our loved one.

  • If you're looking for a place where the people are great, this is a wonderful place to be.

I'm pretty satisfied with it. The people have been great. They're very friendly. However, maintenance has not been good. It's hard to get anything done. The outside needs to be updated and better maintained. It's not bad, but it could be better. Inside the apartments they do an excellent job. Unfortunately they can't seem to keep a manager here. The current one has been here 5-6 months and is leaving. There have been four managers in two years, and I'm not sure why. If the residents don't organize activities, then there aren't any. Some of the resident-run activities are bingo, exercise programs, and jewelry making. The people really are great here. If weren't for them, I don't know if I'd stay. But everybody is so friendly here.

  • Our Tour Experience

We didn't care for Courtyards at River Park. They didn't provide meals 7 days a week. The rooms weren't functional in the way they were set up - they were just very small. It felt dirty there. I thought it was overpriced for what they had to offer. Also they were going through some management changes. It was a brand new person showing us around and talking to us, and we felt she had a disconnect around the type of living the people who come here need.
