This community was specifically designed for memory care and features a secure and cozy environment. With a stately living room, bright and sunny sitting room, manicured gardens, and traditional brick exterior, this community will welcome you home upon your first visit.

This Plano, Texas, community is conveniently located near the intersection of Custer and Spring Creek Parkway — with easy access to shopping, restaurants, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, and Texas Oncology Plano Presbyterian.

Villagio of Plano Community Details

While this community specializes in memory care, it also provides additional services to residents in need of diabetic care, incontinence care, ambulatory care, and medication management. Community specialists also make regular on-site visits to provide ancillary services. Services can be personalized to the resident’s needs.

All residents are served three chef-prepared meals per day in the community dining room. Special meal programs are available for residents who are not mobile or have specific dietary restrictions. In between meals, residents are encouraged to participate in on-campus and off-campus activities designed specifically for memory care. These events are daily opportunities for residents to connect with one another through movement, socializing, learning, and trying new things.

Villagio of Plano offers residents studio and semi-private apartment options to call home. These homes are equipped with amenities such as wheelchair-accessible showers, private patios, air conditioning, and ground-floor units in some cases. Respite stays are also available for seniors looking for temporary accommodations.

Care Types Offered

Villagio of Plano is a Type B assisted living facility. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:

Assisted Living Facility
A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:

Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.
Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.
Type C (Adult Foster Care): 4-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
