While this community specializes in memory care, it also provides additional services to residents in need of diabetic care, incontinence care, ambulatory care, and medication management. Community specialists also make regular on-site visits to provide ancillary services. Services can be personalized to the resident’s needs.
All residents are served three chef-prepared meals per day in the community dining room. Special meal programs are available for residents who are not mobile or have specific dietary restrictions. Assisted Living Facility
A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:
Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.
Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.
Type C (Adult Foster Care): 4-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
