Community Amenities and Services
Top-notch care is at the forefront of our service. Residents have caregivers available 24/7 who are ready to give expert, compassionate care. Our professional staff provides a whole host of services to meet your loved one’s individualized health needs, including medication management, incontinence care, and assistance with other activities of daily living. Housekeeping and laundry services are also provided, maximizing your loved one’s ability to enjoy our community and fellow residents.
Here, we like to provide residents with active calendars that create bubbly social lives. Living Arrangements
Our community features nine bedrooms that can come with private bathrooms and wheelchair-accessible showers. For decor, our rooms come pre-furnished, but we encourage you to bring your own pieces of furniture and decorative items to put the finishing touches on your loved one’s new home.
Care Types Offered
Village Care Homes of Eldridge is a Type B assisted living facility. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:
Assisted Living Facility
A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:
- Type A:
- A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.
- Type B:
- A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.
- Type C (Adult Foster Care):
- Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
