  • More information needs to be fed to the family

We think it was a very beautiful building, very home, it would be very easy for a resident to feel at home there. There are activities going on inside the community all the time and based off what our loved one says the food there is very good. One suggestion for improvement, which could of been caused by covid, but once our loved one moved in we never got introduced to how Brookdale works. We did not know what our loved one needed to do, what they needed to do, how they did it, and when they did it. Also another concern of ours is that we have asked multiple times who the director of nursing is and each time we get a completely different name.

There really is no dining services because of the pandemic so the food is being delivered to their rooms. We would recommend this community to others

  • My experience with Brookdale

I chose Brookdale because there was a duplex available and that is what we were looking for, we knew they were hard to come by. The size of the duplex are very generous and we have plenty of room. We have been feeling our way around about a number of things that they did not tell us when we moved in. I think it would be helpful if they had a meeting or a piece of paper that explains things to new residents. I would recommend them with some reservations.
