We have plenty of scheduled activities for you to enjoy, including things like music therapy, pet therapy, group exercise classes, intergenerational programming, and weekly religious services.
You’ll love spending time in our chic dining room, and our community kitchen features a spacious island with a waterfall granite countertop. We offer three delicious and healthy meals each day, served in our dining room with flexible dining hours. We’re happy to accommodate special diets, and we can even make requested family recipes!
At Cedarhurst of Arnold, you can spend your time pursuing interests, while we take care of the work. We’re happy to provide housekeeping, linens, and towels, and we can also take care of your personal laundry. We offer a shopping and errand service and can provide scheduled transportation. We also have a convenient on-site beauty salon and barber shop.
Your health and well-being are always important to us. We offer ongoing assessments to make sure you’re getting the care you need. And, we’re happy to share this information with your relatives, so they can see how you’re doing. We offer three levels of care in our community. Supportive care consists of verbal reminders to complete activities of daily living, such as bathing. Assistive care is more moderate — we’ll stay with you to make sure you don’t have any problems completing your daily tasks, and we can lend hands-on assistance as necessary. Comprehensive care places the responsibility for your complete care in our hands. We’ll offer as much hands-on assistance as you need, but we’ll step back and let you do things independently if you prefer. No matter what, we’ll provide you with medication management to make sure you take your medications properly.
It’s always easy to summon assistance should you need it. We provide a personal emergency pendant, which you can use 24-hours a day to alert our caring staff if you ever need help. We also offer on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We also have adult day care and respite care options available. Short-term, respite stays offer a wonderful way to explore all that our community offers before moving in!
Our memory care residents receive care in a secure area. This part of our community is specially designed for those with memory loss, and we have caregivers who are trained by a certified dementia expert. Our memory care residents also receive frequent visits from our nurse practitioner and physician.
Living Arrangements
Cedarhurst of Arnold offers apartments in various sizes. Assisted living residents can choose between a studio, one-, or two-bedroom apartments, each of which comes with a kitchenette. Memory care apartments are available as private suites and designed to accommodate various stages of memory loss.
Regardless of where you live in our community, your apartment comes with cable TV, individual climate control, and a wheelchair-accessible bathroom with an emergency response system. Some apartments even offer private balconies or patios.
