Franklin Terrace

The facility’s address and name are not clearly marked from the street view. Our GPS took us to the destination, but we spent 10 minutes trying to decipher which building was the facility. After talking with a pedestrian, we found the entrance. Once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were knowledgeable, cordial, thorough, and caring. The facility was clean, the interior design was top notch, and the restrooms and the model one-bedroom unit we toured was impeccable. Activities were posted, and live music was being played while we were there. Our visit was pleasant and productive thanks to [name removed] and the Chef who agreed to customize meals according to our mom’s dietary restrictions. The price point was at the top of our budget, but the amenities seemed worth it.

We went with Franklin Terrace because of the balance of cost and services provided. She could only afford so much, she is still allowed to be independent on the budget she has available. She is in a studio apartment and it is good size. I do think that they need more variety on the meals and a lot of time the food is not delivered hot, so they could use improvement there. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

From our understanding our loved one seems to be enjoying the meals at the facility we do know they are feeding him well. They are going to start taking him to physical therapy which we are happy about and the value for cost is pretty decent.
