Privately owned and operated Home Plus Assisted Living and Memory Care in the Shawnee area of Johnson County. We are a smaller community compared to others, but our biggest feature is our community provides the one on one direct personal support, while receiving quality care. Whether it is a long term residential stay, short term stay, or day service needs , we are here to help provide a comfortable, and safe environment with all the enhanced quality of life needs and care! All of our services provide; chef prepared meals, personal laundry and housekeeping services, recreational activities, social engagement, medication management and personal plan of care assistance supervised by licensed professionals. We believe all seniors should be able to live out their latter years of life in comfort and with peace of mind.   • It was almost like home

    It was an awesome experience, and Our Home Senior Care is a very nice and clean community. The people were so nice, and the food was really good. They have their own chef that makes everything from scratch and you were more then welcomed to invited your families and eat together. They had a few activities going on, the director was really good about encouraging our loved one to get involved in board games like dominoes and watch movies he enjoyed with other residents. They even had a spa day one day. The community has a screened in patio area that our loved one always enjoyed, the backyard is fenced in and quite big. There is a sidewalk to walk around and even if you have to be in a wheel chair it is still big enough and there is a little gazebo. It is only a 12 bed facility so it was very much one on one care. Everybody had their own bedroom and bathroom but the shower room was shared. One shower was normal sized and the other was a big walk in with a tub.

    My mom was the third resident to move into Our Home Senior Care. We really appreciated the loving care and family environment that the staff worked to create and maintain. We always felt that we were part of the Our Home Senior Care family as well. My mother loved her caregivers and connected with them. It was the perfect place for my mom because of the small community of residents and the small home feel environment.
