Located in the vibrant yet historical town of Downing, Pennsylvania rests Simpson Meadows — a charming community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. Residents can lounge by the crackling fire with family and friends in one of our cozy common areas, or breathe in the fresh air while admiring the lovely gardens inside our enclosed courtyard. Simpson Meadows is just a few miles away from some of Downing’s lovely attractions, such as the Longwood Gardens or the William Brinton 1704 House. With incredible on-site amenities, entertaining activities, and numerous city attractions, even the most active residents will have a hard time running out of things to do.

At Simpson Meadows, we provide a continuum of care services. Our community is split into three different sub-communities, based on level of care. Since the aging process affects us all differently, we have decided to make it easy for residents to transfer between the levels of care they might need. So even if you decide to move into our independent living community and realize you may require more assistance, we will work with you and your loved ones to make the transition as stress-free as possible.

  • Our Tour Experience

We had a very nice virtual tour, and my impression was that it was a very nice place. Ultimately, my loved one's funds are limited, so it was little bit expensive. We found some really great incentives at a different community. But Simpson Meadows had plenty of amenities, and the woman who led our virtual tour was very nice. This is no reflection on how they executed the virtual tour, but I’m just a hands-on person and like to see things in person rather than looking at a computer screen.

  • A beautiful place for your loved!

This community is bright, cheerful and beautifully appointed in terms of furniture and decorations. Our loved one is in a two bed two bath apartment and it is just lovely. The food is better then average, and if she doesn't want to eat the meals provided she can cook her own in her apartment.
