  • Negligent

What a disgrace. Negligent is the only word that comes to mind. Patient care is obviously not their priority. Such a shame they are so very careless. My dad suffered at their hands. They didn't bring water, forgot meals. My father got extremely worse in their care. They should not be in business.

  • sadly my review of Adora

I do not recommend this community there communication was very bad The aides in this community were wonderful but they are understaffed and the admin only cares about the money. Everything was great at this community but the Admin. makes me not recommend this facility The food was so bad my mom wouldn't eat so I had to make her food for her and take it to the facility.

  • My mom is happy at Adora. Most of the staff is very caring and friendly. I have heard from other residents activities are pretty much non existent. My mother would probably not be real interested so I am not overly concerned but I wish they had some creative offerings. The food has been a big issue. She doesn’t like the food and will not eat much of it. It looks bad and has to much salt or preservatives. She was just not eating and therefore not thriving. I am now making all of her meals and delivering a couple of times weekly. The staff was very accommodating about me doing this and they serve her the food I make. They seem to run on a skeleton crew which is a bit concerning. My mom is still a bit independent but if she needs more care I will probably have to hire private care. Adora does not have the staff to care for her at a higher level. I have noticed several people have private care on assisted living level. I have thought about the cost ~ are we getting what we pay for, not exactly but it is spotless, modern and as I mentioned the aids are very wonderful for the most part. I think my mom is safe and that is the most important thing at this time. Now that I am cooking her meals she seems brighter and more upbeat. I think she had no energy because she just refused to eat most of the meals they served. If they could fix the issue in the kitchen and more activities and a few more aids and nurses Adora would get 5 stars across the board.
