For residents with memory issues, Rockport offers a 9-suite Memory Care community, purposefully designed to provide round the clock, high quality care to individuals living with memory loss. These goals extend to the family and friends of our residents, as we navigate the aging process together.

  • They caused my grandfather to become severely ill while he was a resident in their care. He eventually developed pneumonia and was seriously dehydrated before medical attention was sought. When we contacted the Director of Nursing with our concerns, she hung up on us. She also hung up on the nurse from the hospital where my grandpa was taken. Do not let your loved ones stay here. They are not equipped to handle more fragile elderly people, especially those with memory care issues.

  • Poor Decision making owners

The family owners declined my sister because they were having a problem with 3 residents who sneak out to smoke cigarettes!!! My sister paid the price for this!! She had not smoked since her stroke in November. She has been in another assisted living place for 2 months now and does NOT smoke!!!! Shame on these owners!!!

  • The staff at the Rockport were also very friendly and accommodating, very welcoming. My biggest concern was the building: it felt like a motel. Granted there was no furniture in the apartment I saw. First the location of the Rockport is in the middle of a busy, commercial street. The lobby was uninviting, the rooms also uninviting. A big drawback for my aunt would be the lack of a kitchen and therefore wouldn't work. I feel badly because the two women I met clearly were committed to providing the best for their clients.
